It’s not every day that our Managing Director and Sales Director arrive at work dressed as Dumb and Dumber, followed by Mr Blobby, Mario & Luigi, Cruella De Vil and Del Boy; so, if you came to the Cast UK offices on Friday 18th November you might wonder if we’ve all gone mad…
On Friday 18th November, instead of our usual office attire, the Cast UK team will be transforming into TV and film stars for the day!
We would like to thank everyone that joined us for our Peak Planning Breakfast Networking Event last week at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
I spent the weeks leading up to the run filled with dread and panic that I couldn’t do it but the atmosphere of the event on the day really spurred me on!
The support and encouraging cheers of the crowds along the route was exactly what was needed to keep going. Reaching the 7K mark and realising that I really could make it to the end without walking made all of the aches and pains of training worthwhile.
There is now just 5 days to go until 13 members of the Cast UK team take on the Great Manchester Run through the city centre.
On Sunday 22nd May, fifteen members of the Cast UK team will be taking part in the Great Manchester 10K Run.
We are running to raise money for the housing and homelessness charity, Shelter. For many of our team living and working in the centre of Manchester, we have noticed the steady increase in the numbers of homeless on the streets in the last few years. Figures from Shelter also show that there are more than 170 homeless households in Manchester, these people are not necessarily on streets but are families with no home of their own, living in emergency accommodation.
On Wednesday 9th March we exhibited at the Liverpool Spring Careers Fair in search of graduates to join our growing team and be the next rising stars in recruitment!
It’s not every day that you’re interviewed by an MD in a Big Bird costume. First impressions would suggest this might be a complex ‘mind-game’ strategy to test your reactions, but in reality for the team at Cast UK, it was a bit of fun in the name of charity.
We’ve always said that Cast UK team members are committed to going the extra mile, but Dan Rowe and Gary Robinson took it one step further by completing HellRunner this weekend, a 13 mile adventure in Delamere Forest, billed as ‘the toughest half marathon Mother Nature will deliver.’
We are delighted to have teamed up with our client, JD Sports, to offer an epic opportunity to see The Who live in concert at Manchester’s Phones4U Arena this coming weekend, as part of the leading sports fashion retailer’s festive ’Guess Who…..?’ charity competition.
